DYNAMIC

WALL

Challenge: Create a wall module to control light.

Solution: I chose to make a dynamic wall that not only controlled light and acoustics, but did so in a varied manner.  I originally wanted to use twisted louvers, but this created a repetitive, stagnant light pattern.  My goal then became to twist the louvers at different intervals on a single system.  This creates a light gradient that I further used to control circulation and space planning in a plan.  I built this model out of wood and fabric.  It is about 3' tall.
