North-east Baltimore is an area of economic division.  The Western edge contains the Art District, an up-and-coming area with high end housing and many local attractions.  The Eastern side remains abandoned after the Baltimore riots, consisting primarily of abandoned warehouses and row-homes.

Greenmount West is central of the division.  The goal of this project is to create a public Arts Center to encourage further development through the neighborhood.  It becomes an iconic location for artists to both create and display their work.
